Jonathan "Jono" Ford (born 17 August 1989)[1], also spelt as Johnathon Ford, is a rugby league footballer for Toulouse Olympique in the Elite One Championship and previously the Sydney Roosters of the National Rugby League.[2] He plays at five-eighth and fullback in the Under-20s Toyota Cup competition and gained selection for the Cook Islands national team in 2009.

Playing career

Hailing from Toronto, New South Wales, Ford played his junior football for the Macquarie United Scorpions. He later played for the Newcastle Knights Toyota Cup side in 2008 and 2009 and made his debut in the Telstra Premiership on 13 August 2010 against the Cronulla Sharks.

Representative career

Ford was named in the Cook Islands squad for the Rugby League Pacific Cup. The Cook Islands made it to the grand final but went down to the Papua New Guinea team.
